2023年にオーストラリア研究会議 (Australian Research Council; ARC)の卓越研究センターとして、The ARC Centre of Excellence in Plants for Space (https://plants4space.com/) が発足しました。ARCセンター(Plants for Space)は千葉大学宇宙園芸研究センターと同様な目的・目標・研究領域をもった組織です。Kim Johnson先生にはそのARCセンター(Plants for Space)の中核メンバーとして、オーストラリアの取り組みを紹介していただきました。
